Title: Of Best Friends and Babies

Summary: Jensen is a carrier, which means he can get pregnant. He wants kids, but just got out of a long relationship and doesn't want to wait for another one. Jared is his best friend who would do anything for him, Including giving him a baby
Previous Chapter
“Jared, is this really necessary?” Jensen sighed and stood against the wall.
“Yup. I have always wanted to do this, so you’re doing it.” Jared smiled and moved Jensen into the right position.
“But, every day?” Jensen stood still while Jared placed his heels against the tape Jared had put down on the floor.
“Jen, if we don’t do it every day, it won’t have the same effect.” Jared pulled out his camera and snapped a picture.
“Am I done?” Jensen sighed.
“Yup.” Jared smiled and kissed his cheek. “This is gunna be so cool, when we have the baby, we can make a slide show, and we can see how your stomach grows.” He smiled wide.
Jensen put a shirt on and smiled. “Yeah, that will be cool I guess.”
Jared put away his camera and walked into the living room. “So, when’s our next appointment with Misha?” he asked curiously.
Jensen sat down on his lap and played with Jared’s hair unconsciously. “Two weeks.” He smiled. Jared bit his lip, Jensen’s hands felt good in his hair. This was something they had done millions of times before, but Jared couldn’t help but think of it differently after his epiphany a week ago. He groaned and shifted, not wanting Jensen to feel his sudden erection.
“Am I to heavy?” Jensen frowned. “I’ll get off…” he said softly.
“No no, that’s not it at all Jen.” He smiled. “My leg fell asleep, that’s all.” He lied.
Jensen frowned. “Are you sure? I know I have gained some weight….” He bit his lip.
Jared frowned. “You did? I haven’t even noticed.” He looked at Jensen closely.
“Only about two pounds.” He said softly. “But I feel like it’s more.”
Jared smiled and kissed his forehead. “That just means the baby is growing its good.” He smiled.
“Okay.” He sighed. “Jay? Can you make me a sandwich?”
Jared nodded. “What do you want?” He lifted Jensen off his lap and laid him down on the couch.
Jensen thought for a moment. “Turkey mustard and cheese.”
“Cold or hot?”
“Cold, what are you insane?” Jensen frowned. “The cheese will be all melty and the mustard will be gross if it’s warm.”
“Then no, you can’t have a turkey sandwich. It’s not allowed.” Jared crossed his arms. Jensen pouted.
“What do you mean it’s not allowed?!” He said frustrated.
“You can’t eat deli meats unless they are heated up till they steam. They have bacteria on it that could cause a miscarriage.” Jared said. “I’ll make you a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich.” He walked into the kitchen.
“But I don’t want that!” Jensen groaned.
Jared popped his head out of the kitchen. “Then I will make you whatever you want as long as it’s safe to eat.” He said.
“Well, what’s safe to eat?” Jensen frowned.
“You haven’t read any of the books yet, have you?” Jared sighed from in the kitchen.
“No! I’m less than two months pregnant Jay, I didn’t think I had to yet.” He grunted.
“Well, you should. It’s a good thing I did or you would be eating a sandwich that could hurt the baby right now.”
“Fine. I’ll read the books. Now, what cant I eat.” He sighed.
“A lot of things actually. No raw meats, obviously, but that also means that when we have stake we have to cook it good, no rare.” He said.
“Come on! I’m from Texas; I need it rare, bloody and still mooing!” Jensen whined.
“To bad. You can’t have soft cheeses, or anything with raw eggs, so most salad dressings are off limits. I’d stay away from seafood, even though it says only raw fish or fish with high mercury content, but you never really know.”
“But I like shrimp!” he whimpered.
“You can have it, but only if its cooked, we get it at someplace that we know has a low mercury content, and you can only have a little of it. You also can’t eat pineapples, papaya, or sesame seeds. Artificial sweeteners are bad too. So no diet soda. But I would feel better if you didn’t drink soda at all, just juices.” He said.
“Wow, food Nazi.” He pouted.
“C’mon, it’s not that bad. It’s only for nine months. Seven and a half now.” He smiled.
“You’re just saying that because you get to eat whatever you want.” Jensen groaned.
Nope, I’m not eating anything you can’t eat. This house is going to be completely pregnancy friendly; I’m not even going to drink beer.” Jared stated.
Jensen looked up at him surprised. “Y-you are?” His eyes started to water and his lip wibbled.
“Yeah, of course.” He smiled. Jensen started crying.
“Jen, what’s wrong?” Jared went over to Jensen and pulled him into a hug.
“T-that’s so sweet!” he sobbed. “Jay, you’re the best guy ever. Neil would never do anything like that for me.” He whimpered. “He knows I don’t like onions, but he put them in everything he cooked anyway, because he likes them. I had to sit there and pick them out.”
Jared smiled wide and kissed his cheek again, then wiped away the tears with his thumbs.
“Jensen, I would do anything for you. If that means giving up some food and drink for the next so many months, then so be it.” He shrugged.
Jensen smiled; eyes still shiny and wet with tears. “Thank you Jared.”
“No problem. Now, what do you want to eat?” Jared chuckled.
“Can you make me spaghetti?”
“Sure thing Jen.” Jared smiled and walked into the kitchen. He got out a pot, filled it with water, and put it on the stove to boil.
“Hey Jen, do you want sauce?” He called out.
“Yeah, can you make it with meat in it?”
“Sure thing, you want full meatballs or little pieces?”
“Little pieces.”
Jared nodded and got out the frozen meatballs from the freezer and the sauce from the fridge. He got another pan and put both the sauce and the meatballs into it before putting it on the stove to cook.
“Jay? Can you get me some juice?” Jensen called from the living room.
“Sure, apple or orange?”
“Orange.”
Jared poured a glass of orange juice and brought it into the living room.
“Thanks.” Jensen smiled and took it. He drank it down and leaned back against the couch. Jared picked up the glass to take it and Jensen whimpered.
“Whets wrong?” Jared asked.
“Uh, the citric acid in that…” Jensen’s face went green and he ran to the bathroom and puked. Jared ran after him and rubbed his back.
“Well, we can check first bout of morning sickness off the milestone list.” Jared joked.
Jensen groaned and heaved. “I was seriously hoping to bypass this part. My mother said she never got it.”
Jared grabbed Jensen a cup of water and a cloth. “Well, unfortunately, my mom was sick as a dog every time.”
Jensen took the cup and swished the water around and spit it back in the toilet. He flushed it and wiped off his face.
“Jen, do you still want food?” Jared asked softly, still rubbing Jensen’s back.
“Yes, I’m good now. And I just puked up everything in my stomach, so I’m starving.” He sighed.
Jared picked him up and put him on the couch, and grabbed a bucket. “Just in case.” Jared smiled and placed it next to the couch. He also grabbed Jensen a blanket and a cup of ice water.
“Thanks Jay. Man, why couldn’t I have fallen in love with you instead of Neil?” Jensen said softly before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
The comment sent something sharp down his spine. He frowned and looked down with sad eyes.
“I don’t know Jensen…I don’t know.” He whispered sadly.
